At the Division B state tournament Morse Middle School won the state tournament title for the second consecutive year. Menomonie Middle School finished as the state runner-up for the second consecutive year. The third place team from this tournament is not known.
At the Division C state tournament Washington Park High School won the state tournament title for the first time in school history. Madison West High School earned the state runner-up trophy, falling from winning the state tournament title in the previous year. Appleton West High School finished as the third place team.
