1985 was the first ever Division C State Tournament in Wisconsin.
There was no Division B State Tournament.
At the Division C State Tournament Neenah High School won the inaugural state tournament title. Madison West High School earned the state runner-up trophy. The third place team is not known.

The top two teams in Division C qualified for the 1985 National Tournament.
There were no regional tournaments for Division C in Wisconsin until 2004.
