The 2014 Pennsylvania State Competition was held at Juniata College on May 2, 2014.

The 2014 tournament was particularly notable in that it was the first time since 1997 that Harriton High School did not finish in first place. Penncrest High School won the first state title in team history by 9 points, snapping Harriton's streak of first-place finishes at sixteen seasons, which remains a state record in either division. Harriton finished in second place to extend their streak of appearances at the national tournament to 22 seasons. Ironically, as of 2020, this was Penncrest's final season in which they qualified for the national tournament.

In Division B, Shady Side Academy Middle School won their third consecutive state title, and Springhouse Middle School qualified for nationals for the first time in school history, in only their second season as a team. It was also the first time in Pennsylvania's history that a team representing the Central East Regional qualified for the national tournament. Bala Cynwyd Middle School finished in third place for the third time in four seasons.

Regional Winners are bolded. Ties are broken by highest medal awarded. For example, North East Middle School and Young Scholars of Central PA Charter School both had 508 points, but North East Middle School won more gold medals and received 28th place instead of 29th.
