The Sierra Vista Invitational, previously known as the Jeffrey Trail Invitational and Kraemer Invitational, is a Division A and Division B invitational tournament held at Northwood High School in Irvine, CA and hosted by Sierra Vista Middle School. Its first invitational was held on January 9th, 2016. Besides the host schools, other notable attendees include Northern California state champions and 2019 and 2021 National champions Kennedy Middle School, previous Southern California state champions Oak Valley Middle School, as well as Highlands Intermediate School and Iolani School, the perennial top two teams in Hawaii.
The invitational team recruits test writers from all over the nation, many of whom have earned a medal in that event at Nationals, to ensure that the quality of the tests is up to high standards. The tournament is mostly run by volunteers from all around Southern California, including Troy High School, Sunny Hills High School, Portola High School, Temple City High School, La Habra High School, University High School, Valencia High School, Canyon Crest Academy, Torrey Pines High School, and hosts Northwood High School. If you are interested in volunteering or writing an exam, please message Umaroth.
An in-person tournament will be run for the 2032 season, host TBA. Any questions regarding the tournament should be directed to tournament director Umaroth at the tournament email address sierravistasoinvite@gmail.com.
This tournament is officially partnered with the Duosmium tournament results archive. Results are posted here after the awards ceremony.
