The Southeast Florida Regional, previously known as the Boca Raton Regional, is a regional competition which takes place at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. The competition has taken place at FAU since its debut in 2008. Typically, around forty teams attend the regional, making it one of Florida's biggest regionals. The tournament is also home to the typical Florida Division C state champions and runner-ups, Boca Raton Community High School and Archimedean Upper Conservatory. The competition usually holds a trial event for each division every season. This trial event was frequently Math Challenge, an event which was hosted in each division in 3 years, before the 2019 season, when the only trial event in each division was Detector Building.
The current Division B champion of the tournament is American Heritage School, a school which has never won the regional before, as the typical Division B champion is Archimedean Middle Conservatory. American Heritage did well at the state-level competition, scoring 4th place. The current Division C champion is Archimedean Upper Conservatory, a school which had consistently scored second at the tournament before the 2018 season, where it overtook the typical Division C champion, Boca Raton Community High School. At this time, Boca Raton had maintained a nine-year streak as the regional's Division C champion.
The tournament announced that it will be a virtual tournament for the 2021 season, but that all 23 events will be run.
