This was alittlestitious' first year competing for SciOly. She thought she would like Anatomy, as it was her favorite in Div. A, but it turned out to be her least favorite event. Too much memorization. She enjoyed Heredity and Water Quality a lot, the latter being her favorite event that year. She did not expect to like Water Quality that much, but the combination of ecology and ID was really nice! Overall, 6th grade was a pretty good first year.

Second year, this time she was in 7th grade! Fortunately, she had the opportunity to go to regionals, before COVID-19 shut everything down 😔. Heredity and Water Quality were the same from last year, however Food Science was added in. This year it was definitely a toss up for favorite event; it was between Food Science and Water Quality. She was pretty pleased this year with her regionals rankings, although the lab for Food Science was.... interesting.

This was alittlestitious' last year competing for her middle school 😔. And unfortunately, it was all online because of COVID-19 😭. She missed in-person regionals and invitationals, especially the award ceremonies. However, online regionals went pretty well! She remembers the Food Science test was especially short, and the Water Quality test was extremely long. To this day, she has no idea what happened with her third event at the Regional and Invitationals. It was just a bad year for Heredity😔.
