Tesla STEM High School is a high school in Redmond, Washington that will first participate in Science Olympiad in the 2019-20 season. Despite having yet to participate, Tesla STEM has dominated, placing 2nd at University of Georgia Invitational and 6th at Las Vegas Invitational. Most noteably, they won Camas Invitational, beating Bothell High School and Camas, the two strongest teams in Washington for the past few years. They have also gotten 2nd place at the University of Chicago Invitational, losing to 1st place by 1 point.
In the 2021-22 season, they placed 1st at the Washington State tournament. This qualified them for the 2022 National Tournament in which they placed 24th.
School Background
Tesla STEM puts a strong focus on academics, with unique classes that give it an impressive local reputation. There are around 600 students in the school. Entrance to the school is lottery-based.
