The Eagles Mini-Tournament was an informal, one-time-only Division C invitational hosted by Olathe North High School on February 8th, 2020. It was created because many other local tournaments had been cancelled for one reason or another, leaving Northeast Kansas and Northwest Missouri teams with only two competitions before Regionals, as opposed to the typical 5. Only five schools were invited: Olathe North High School, Blue Valley North High School, Blue Valley Northwest High School, Blue Valley West High School, and Pembroke Hill High School.
Due to the informal nature of the tournament, there were no awards given out to competitors.
The name "Eagles Mini-Tournament" itself was not official, going by other designations such as "Mini Science Olympiad Competition", "Olathe North Mini-Invitational", or "our SciO tourney this weekend".
