Whitney Young Academic Center (WYAC) is a Division B team in Chicago, Illinois that competes in the Chicago Public Schools Regional.

The Whitney Young Academic Center team was created in 2013. It has won the CPS regional competition every year since 2016, and has a best placing in the state tournament of 8th in 2019. The team is made up of 7th and 8th graders, along with 5 freshmen who attend the high school. Typically, these freshmen must have competed for the WYAC team in 7th or 8th grade. There is only one varsity team, which is supplemented by alternates.

Historically, some invitationals the WYAC team has gone to include Westinghouse and Rockford Christian. In the past couple years, the team has gone to the University of Chicago (B) invitational, as well as the Kildeer Countryside Invitational in the most recent year.

In the 2020-2021 season, due to invitationals being moved online, the WYAC team was able to compete in out of state competitions such as the Eagle and Westlake invitationals.

WYAC feeds into Whitney Young Magnet High School.
