Torrey Hills is a K-6 grade elementary school in the Del Mar Union School District of San Diego, California. In 2013, Torrey Hills qualified for the California (South) State tournament, finishing 3rd in the San Diego Regional, up from 8th place in 2012. This was a big accomplishment as the school consists of 5th and 6th graders who are competing against mostly 7th and 8th grade students from middle schools.
In 2015 they finished in 7th place out of 37 schools and 116 teams at the San Diego Regional and again qualified for the state tournament where they finished 22nd. Students from Torrey Hills graduate into the San Dieguito Union High School District and most will attend Carmel Valley Middle School.
