2019-2020
In the 2020 season, South Forsyth hosted their own invitational for the first time (South Forsyth Invitational). Much to their excitement, they beat Brookwood High School, the state champion at the time, at CSRA. They went on to qualify for the state competition at regionals. However, due to the 2019-20 Coronavirus outbreak, the state competition was cancelled, and so they did not get an opportunity to compete there.

Since most tournaments followed an online format in the 2021 season, South Forsyth went to a variety of tournaments that they had not gone to before, located all over the country. The team was much more motivated and did very well considering the toughened competition. This includes a 4th place finish at the state competition, the highest the school had ever placed at that level.
