Scilympiad (formerly called statescioly) is an online scoring system and test taking platform first developed for the San Diego Regionals. Although it existed for some years as a scoring system, it saw a major rise in popularity in 2021 after it became the test-taking platform of choice for a significant number of competitions, including BEARSO Invitational, MIT Invitational, Princeton Invitational among others. Unlike other systems, Scilympiad is completely free, with no fees attached to the use of the website. Scilympiad is only available to use for official NSO sanctioned tournaments. Use for tryouts and other scrimmages is discouraged/disallowed.
The first official invitational tournament to use the Scilympiad platform for its test taking capabilities was BEARSO Invitational, on October 10th, 2020.
