Pelecaniformes is an order that contains birds that live around and in the water, such as cormorants, pelicans, and frigatebirds. Birds in the families Ardeidae and Threskiornithidae were previously listed as members of the order Ciconiiformes on previous bird lists, but they were reorganized for the 2020 edition of the rules.
