Northern Hills Middle School
Forest Hills Northern Middle School (now known as Northern Hills Middle School) is located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It is a 7th and 8th grade school. The team consists of 7th, 8th, and 9th graders. It has gone to the state competition 13 out of the last 14 years. It competes in Region 12 in Michigan at Grand Valley State University. Region 12 is a highly competitive region, as the number one team usually does really well in nationals. Many other teams from region 12 have also done pretty good at nationals. FHN has not gone to nationals in any of the years it has done Science Olympiad.

Forest Hills Northern MS holds over 400 students. It's extracurricular activities contain Math Counts, National History Day, Odyssey of the Mind, and Science Olympiad. Forest Hills Northern HS is the high school that students at the MS go to. Forest Hills Northern is in the same school district as Forest Hills Eastern and Forest Hills Central and are big rivals.
