Re: FireFox 3
How low is the memory usage? Is it extremely low?
I have a relative running XP on a 7 year old computer using IE6. The computer isn't bad when nothing's running in the background, but the lower the memory usage, the better.
I doubt it's less than IE6 though.

I'm actually triple-booting MacOS, XP, and Vista Ultimate this summer. Are the securities on Vista bad enough that I'll actually need to buy it?

Probably Boot Camp, but I haven't made a definitive decision. Do you have a preference?

Re: FireFox 3
I'm probably going to be using GRUB, actually, since it's a lot more stable on the MBR and does a much better job of managing OS's.
So, I'll be installing XP, Vista, MacOS, and then a very small partition of Linux to use GRUB.

Are you using a Mac? If you're gonna install OSX (x86) on a regular PC, leme know how it turns out, I've tried and failed. Works fine in vmware though. Some say they've gotten a certain dvd to work on the same computer but its leopard so I'd have to burn the disk, which I can't be bothered to do.

Re: FireFox 3
I'll be (re)building my own computer, so no, it's not going to be Mac native.
Did you try creating an entirely separate partition to install OSX86 on? You may need to use PartitionMagic or something of the like to create two separate partitions to install the respective OS's on. I'm not sure if there's a third-party bootloader to help you boot the two OS's separately, but it might be worth searching for in your case.
