Stuff

I have only really been serious about Science Olympiad for one year. Very interesting, but it sucks out one's life. Funnily enough, my computer corrects "scioly" to "sickly". That's how I feel after every competition.

What is T-55M???

You might be wondering, "What is T-55M?" Well, the T-55M was a version of the T-55 with some fancy upgrades like laser rangefinders and improved stabilization. And the T-55 was itself an upgraded T-54 with NBC protection. The T-54 was a Soviet medium tank, first built in 1947.

Some cool quotes

"Come on, come on, don't be silly, don't be silly," puffed Henry to the freight cars.
The cars shuddered and groaned. "Trickety trock, trickety trock, all right! All right!"
...
Then, a yellow signal appeared ahead. His driver prepared to stop, but the home signal was down! "All clear, Henry! Away we go!"

"We have to ensure that, the offensive not only are 100% successful, but 200%!"

"her [Texas's] last fire support mission was so far inland that to get the needed range, the starboard torpedo blister was flooded with water to provide a list of two degrees which gave the guns enough elevation to complete the fire mission."

"The mark of a great shiphandler is never getting into situations that require great shiphandling." --CNO Ernest J. King

The most important thing

I hail the Grand Battery.
