Oak Park High School is a Division C school from Missouri. They have won the Missouri State competition numerous times, including in 1989, 1993-1994, 1997, 1999-2002, 2004, and 2006. They were formerly one of the most competitive teams in the state, but seem to not have done well at state since 2009. The team had previously qualified for state for 24 years. However, upon opening of rival school, Staley High School, district lines were redrawn and Oak Park lost several students to Staley, negatively affecting the teams numbers. Their state qualifying streak was broken in 2012. However, the team is expierencing a remarkable turnaround. At the 2017 Regionals, the team took third and made it back to state. At the 2017, state tournament the team took 13th. As of February 17th, 2018, the team again won third at Regionals and will be returning to state on April 7th, 2018.
