Notable Achievements
Division B
- Wilmington Academy of Arts & Sciences became the first NHCS Division B team to advance to a national competition with a state placement of 2nd. They placed 25th at the 2019 National Tournament, beating out state partner Piedmont IB Middle School by 14 points.
Division C
- From 1997 to 2000, John T. Hoggard High School placed 2nd in the state tournament and attended the National tournaments, placing as high as 35th.
