Kane Area Middle School is a Division B team that competes in the Northwest region of Pennsylvania. They experienced a period of great success in the late 1990s and early 2000s, when they qualified for the national tournament twice. After 2004, they did not experience as much success, but after a 14-year wait, Kane Area made a return to states in 2018.
