Holmdel High School is a Division C team in New Jersey. The team was established in 2017 by sophomore alumni of William R. Satz Middle School, of which HHS is their district high school. Many of the great team members of William R. Satz's SciOly team gravitate to vocational schools such as Biotechnology High School and High Tech High School. They tend to do best in the building events under the supervision of the Satz alumni who did well in their middle school years. The team earned a 5th place medal in Towers in 2017 and a 5th place medal in Chem Lab and Forensics in 2018. At 2018 NJ State, the team got 6th in Towers and 1st in Fermi Questions. In 2019, they greatly increased their medal count:
