Fishers High School is a Division C team competing in the Ivy Tech Terre Haute Regional of Indiana (though the team has competed at the Purdue University Regional in the past). In 2013, a student and a sponsor founded Fishers High School's first Science Olympiad team. In 2014, their first season ended in a success after qualifying for state, a feat that few Science Olympiad teams accomplish their first year competing.
Fishers High School is located northeast of Indianapolis, possessing a student population of over 3,000. The school offers hundreds of courses including college preparatory programs like AP, IB, and ACP. The school is one of two in the Hamilton Southeastern School District, and the only one that competes in Science Olympiad. In 2020 Fishers High School was ranked 11th in the state of Indiana by U.S. News, placing 805th in the nation when compared to other high schools in the United States.
