Canal Winchester High School is a Division C team that competes in the state of Ohio. They traditionally have a smaller program of about 7-12 people, unlike their middle school program, and are completely self-funded.

2020-2021

After the all-time low 2019-2020 season in which the team was left with 5 members and no coach, a parent stepped up to coach the team, and the improvement in culture and overall team performance was noticeable. In the COVID-19 affected season, the team was able to qualify for states by placing 25th (1 team per school at states) and taking the last qualifying spot out of the Western Superregional. This was the first state qualification in school history. The team placed last at the state tournament, but it was a big step forward.

2021-2022

The 2020-2021 Season was an excellent step forward for the program, qualifying for the state tournament for the first time via the West Superregional. For the 2021-2022 Season, they had high hopes, competing in the Central Ohio Regional in March. They placed 39th in the Ohio State University Invitational Tournament as a team, with excellent results in Ping Pong Parachute (5th), Trajectory (6th), and Cybersecurity (7th). The Mentor Invitational went well too, placing 5th in Ping Pong Parachute once again and 10th in Trajectory. They excelled in the Central Ohio Regional Competition, winning five gold medals, capping off one of the best performances in school history. This qualified them for the state tournament as the 6th place school out of the central region. The State Tournament went way better than expected too, with great results in Gravity Vehicle (6th), Remote Sensing (6th), Ping Pong Parachute (8th), and WiFi Lab (9th). They placed 31st as a team. Congrats on a great season to the 9 students, 1 coach, and many parents supporting the team!
