I haven't seen anyone from DC or division C Hawaii on here in a while, and those would be the most likely 'regions' that if a team denied to go to nats, wouldn't send a team at all. I think I talked to another person on your team about it. Two years ago, when Hawaii didn't send a team, the second team from the bubble state (I forget what it was) got to go. So it's possible, though not very likely.

If I were in a state that qualified for Nats, but couldn't afford to go, I would do everthing I could to raise money to go. I mean I wouldn't want to win and then be told I couldn't go to Nats.

Well if we tried very hard and actually get 1st, highly improbable, but in that case we wouldn't go cuz our school is some messed up school. Only way we get 1st is if people start working and we get lucky. I'm already at my limit, 5 events and doing other people's event, lol. Just some slackers that mess up our team.

If we go to Nats (and if we work a little harder we can and will), I would do whatever it takes to fund our team.

Our school district is pretty well off, but our high school is going and we've been state champions for a few years running. If the other school in our district (they placed a close second at regionals and have been in the top 10 in the state for the past two years) goes the district is gonna be in pretty deep. NY is pretty far from Augusta.

I would fundraise 24/7 if I had to do it to go to nats! Unfortunately I will probably never be faced with that problem.

i was there and saw them
IDK if D.C. has there own tournament or if the teams just compete through virginia or something

how about us stuck on the west coast, when will nats be in arizona or something more west...?
