How do those plastic produce bags (those thin things) compare to tissue? Is it lighter? Since my school has JV teams who would die trying to use mylar film I'm looking for a suitable substitute that's not too difficult to work with.

Huh. I just got my rules book, and the only specification on materials is this:

Boron filaments must not be used anywhere on the helicopter. Any other material may be used anywhere on the helicopter.

Crazy stuff. I didn't know they ever made it that open.

We sure hope so. We also are looking forward to a lot of the national's teams using unobtainium (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unobtainium)

I suppose based on the rules they can't penalize you, but they'd probably give you dirty looks

Mr. Anderson,
What would be your recommendations as far as bearings go? Any favorites? Certain ones better than others? etc.
edit: If you were doing this event and you had to choose a bearing which one and why?
