2025 LASSO (LASA Science Olympiad) Satellite Invitational

Hey everyone!

We're pleased to announce the first-ever LASA Science Olympiad Invitational (LASSO), run by the Liberal Arts and Science Academy, or LASA, from Austin, Texas! This will be a Satellite tournament (Division B and C), running from October 19th to 31st. We are allowing a two-week testing period to allow greater flexibility for teams with other tournaments at this time.

All 23 events for both B and C will be run, including some additional fun trial events (listed on our Scilympiad). The top 3 teams in each event will receive awards that will be shipped out after awards.

Our tests will be written by current and former LASA Science Olympiad members, all of whom are top State and/or National medalists. LASA Science Olympiad is a nationally-ranked team, and our team members strive to write tests at the highest quality, and there will be added quality-control checks on our end before the tournament begins. However, tests will not be publicly released after the competition period has ended.

The cost of registration for this tournament is $75 per team to allow us to buy and ship medals for the top teams in each event. Registration has now opened on our Scilympiad page. Feel free to email us if you have any questions.
