WE ARE thrilled to announce the third annual Science Olympiad at Penn State (SOAPS) Invitational on Saturday, January 14th, 2023!
We will be running our second in-person, Division C tournament at Penn State’s University Park Campus.
Despite the poor weather last year, we had such a great experience bringing 18 teams from 3 states (!!!), to our campus. We would love to see everyone again (and hopefully some new faces too)!
Registration will open on Monday, September 19th, 2022 at 4pm eastern time (tomorrow!) and will be through Scilympiad: https://scilympiad.com/psuscioly. Registration for SOAPS will be First-Come, First-Served. Our maximum capacity is currently 45 teams (each school may register up to 3 teams), so be sure to register early! If we end up having a waitlist, Pennsylvania teams will be prioritized over out-of-state teams. Registration will cost $80 for the first team from a school, and $65 for the second and third teams. [1 team=$80; 2 teams=$145; 3 teams=$210]
Once you register, you will be sent an email detailing how to pay this tournament fee. If our fee prohibits your team from participating, please let us know, and we can discuss options for a decreased fee.
