2022 Highlands Virtual Practice Invitational 10/8-10/15

Aloha!

This year, we intend on running an invitational for both B and C a month after rules release. There will not be a fee for this tournament, and there will not be any medals given out for placements. There may be certificates or prizes for events, however. Donations are welcome though to support the Highlands SciOly team.

We intend on running an Asynchronous Mini*** Invitational lasting from 10/8-10/15.

If you are interested in writing a test for the competition, or would like to volunteer, contact me at pearlcityscioly@gmail.com.

The purpose of this invitational is to engage teams who do not reside on O'ahu, the island on which invitationals are typically held. That being said, any team from any state is welcome to participate and practice!

Update 09/08/2022:

We'll be meeting with the State Director this weekend to finalize the details and shortly after the website should be created and up. As of right now, we plan on running only events that can be run through Scilympiad solely. This means that we will not be running any build events.

Currently, we're still looking for event supervisors for:
- Can't Judge a Powder
- Remote Sensing

That is correct. We believe it is rather early in the season and builds for most teams have yet to be developed/built.
