Is it harder to sterilize viruses or bacteria?

Re: Microbe Mission B/C
Generally I think it should be viruses because of the structure of bacteria and how it is not as resistant, although there should be a few exceptions.

Some halophiles use gas vesicles by positioning the organism in specific locations in a stratified body of water to prevent osmotic shock, and others adapt their intracellular machinery to function in the presence of molar concentrations of salts.

Re: Microbe Mission B/C
When you use 16S amplicon sequencing, alpha diversity typically measures the richness, or the number of unique species, and evenness, which is how equally well those species are represented within the sample. Higher alpha diversity is usually seen as a more resilient or stable microbiome.
Apologies, the hide function seems to not be working...

Re: Microbe Mission B/C
Here's my question:
Why are gram-negative bacteria typically more resilient to antibiotics compared to gram-positive bacteria?
