1) What is the fastest type of surveillance?
2) Who discovered the reason behind the outbreak of beri-beri(disease caused by eating only white rice, and not getting enough nutrients)
3)Difference between case-control and retrospective cohort?

Christiaan Eijkman
3.
Case-control groups people based on whether they contracted the disease and then works back to find the exposure. Retrospective cohort groups people based on exposures and checks whether they got the disease.

Mostly correct :D but #2 - Christiaan Eijkman? I was looking for TK Takaki, but C.E. conducted a study on chickedns - but didn't figure out the cause of the outbreak, which is what TKT did. In the tests ive seen its usually tkt but, idk. Ehh i should have ben more clear. GJ :)))

also for #1 i was looking for syndromic surv - but i can see why u said active surv, its a debatable topic lolol
