Lots of invitationals have a hard enough time running 23 events (finding space, supervisors, etc.) Expecting them to find space and people for 5 extra events might be difficult. I've been to lots of invitationals in schools where virtually every room was in use. I don't see that those schools would have the capacity to add 5 more events.BennyTheJett wrote: ↑Fri Mar 27, 2020 2:40 pm What I'm proposing is that 28 events are scored, and teams can drop the 5 lowest events, resulting in the same number (23) of events counting towards a team score, and allowing teams to pick which events they want scored more.
(sneepity: This was the second year of Boomi's run. The normal rotation would have had us go to elevated bridges next year.)
