Re: Scores
Maybe I misremembered the time. I know they scored 19.7, perhaps they were one of the several 10-15 second times and someone else was the 7s. I know they were about 2cm for sure.
Re: Scores
One of our cars scored 17.37 at 10.5m. 5cm to mark, 7.37s avg. Earned third. 1st and 2nd were more accurate, about 1-1.5 seconds slower.

Re: Scores
Just supervised this event at a regional. About 2/3 of teams had a device. More than half of teams were tiered, the majority of which were because of having parts of the vehicle besides the drive string/arm more than 0.5 cm in front of the dowel. The winning team score was in the 70s - the best raw score was a tiered team, somewhere in the 50s.

Re: Scores
So rumor has it the winning score at Centerville was under 6. 2nd was over 10. Not sure of the exact target distance. Can someone explain this to me?

Re: Scores
Confirmed. 1st place had a raw score of 5.86. I believe it was in the same room they had Battery Buggy in last year, which was only big enough for a 9-meter run.
