Question: In Illinois, what is the difference between (A) and (AA)? We have varsity and jv?

A are normally smaller teams, while AA are the larger more competitive teams.
Crystal Lake Central Invitational (Div. C)
Overall Results
1.Stevenson Green: 75
2.Stevenson Gold: 129
3.Madison West A: 137
4.Naperville Central White: 278
5.Huntley Red: 292
6.Crystal Lake Central Varsity: 314
I will say it was a nice surprise having Madison West present to compete at CLC. Overall things seem to still be a work in progress for most teams at the moment. Huntley and Loyola will probably reveal more of whats to come.

Apologies, I was looking at the wrong division. Thanks, TCS!

Does Stevenson stack teams at invitationals? Either way impressive if JV team still got second or both teams placed top two.

Does anyone know if State competition will use the same microphone for sounds of music as the one they'll be using at nats? The Neewer USB microphone?

At this point I believe they are stacked but when looking at division AA Madison West got 2nd. Overall a very aggressive fight for 2nd. I hope to see Madison West next year!

Yeah. West is looking really strong again this year (I think that might've been their JV team?) We haven't seen their varsity yet, but results like these are very interesting. It's also peculiar that Marquette is coming to more Illinois invites. Just trying to get more invys in I guess.
