Are we allowed a binder and a field guide or just one of them?

We are allowed a 2" of smaller binder AND a field guide.

Re: Ornithology B/C
Hello,
Under Wood-Warblers, the Magnolia Warbler is listed as Dendroica Magnolia in the Bird List. However, most resources are listing it as Setophaga Magnolia online and in books.
I found this article on wiki which states that the name Setophaga takes precedence after the merger of the two Genus:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Setophaga
What would be the right answer to what the correct Genus of these warblers is?

Unless they correct the bird list... which is definitely possible.hmmm wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2019 1:27 pmBird List always takes precedence under any circumstances.Nonie wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2019 1:15 pm Hello,

Re: Ornithology B/C
I've notice that on the list, it lists the scientific name of the Clapper Rail as Rallus longirostris, but allaboutbirds lists it as Rallus crepitans. Which scientific name should I use?

Re: Ornithology B/C
Would it be advisable to have general information on the Orders and Family groups and not just the birds listed under those bigger categories?
e.g. have a page of notes for Anseriformes in general and a page for Anatidae in general
