Does anyone know any good sites for studying, the people in my group only mess around

Well there's the wiki, and the website I mentioned earlier, http://ww2010.atmos.uiuc.edu/%28Gh%29/g/home.rxml , and you can always search things with google

Do you think that the website above and the wiki have all of the info I need on Severe Storms? Or should I research more? (This is for a invitational, so I don't need every single bit of information out there.)

Hey I am making a test for Meteorology and this question popped up. How do we ask questions about the special events

You could ask specific dates of each event. Ex What was the date of the Joplin tornado? How many people perished? Did you realize that the Joplin tornado hit the high school less than a 1/2 hr after the high school graduation was competed? What was the main safety issue related to the Arizona Haboob? What distiniguishes a Derecho from a squall line? Why did Hurricane Sandy turn left into NY/NJ? Hope that gets you started.

For everyone, I'm in Arizona, and we had our first competition on November 16. About 3/4 of the test was Everyday Weather. Just thought I'd give a heads up! It is NOT all Severe Storms!

We have the a small meteorology book but are there any other recommendations ?

For the Boyceville invite test a lot of the questions mainly pertained to weather in Wisconsin. Like, "On average how many torndoes are there in Wisconsin annually?" I don't think it was a very good test but you can study facts about your state to prepare.

Does anybody have any good Severe Storms tests? I am having trouble finding ones relevant to this topic. Thanks!
