First you vary resistor 2 until the Galvanometer reads 0 V, then you plug the values into:
Rx=R2/R1*R3

Rx=R2/R1*R3
Looking forward to anatomy, protein, fossils, and optics (NYS trial) this year!

I am really sorry it took this long for me to get up a question
Who discovered electromagnetic induction, and describe his/her setup which was used to discover it

Re: Shock Value B/Circuit Lab C Question Marathon
Electromagnetic induction was discovered by Michael Faraday. He wrapped two wires around opposite sides of an iron ring. He plugged one wire into a galvanometer and the other one into a battery. When he did so, he saw a transient current.

Re: Shock Value B/Circuit Lab C Question Marathon
Since no one has posted in a while, I'll ask a question. Given the logic gate question on the previous page, show that its boolean algebraic representation
is equivalent to the expression
.
(Note that + signifies "OR", * signifies "AND", and (bar) signifies "NOT".)
Also, draw an equivalent logic gate circuit with one (4-input) gate and any necessary inverters.
