You could bring two banners so that more people could help carry the banners. Alternatively, the excess people could just walk, smile, and wave.gyourkoshaven wrote:What would the other 1-3 people do? It only takes 2 to hold up a banner...

Re: Parade Of States, Celebrations, and Parties
This year, it says that the parade of states is contributing to the decision of who wins the spirit award. It seems easier to show spirit (and maybe a theme) with more than two people. That's just my guess.

Just an example: I've seen other New York teams have two people carrying the banner and one dressed up as the Statue of Liberty. Something like that.luo wrote:You could bring two banners so that more people could help carry the banners. I've seen several schools have one of their team members dressed up like their school mascot, or some sort of 'stereotypical outfit' of their statePhenylethylamine wrote:Just an example: I've seen other New York teams have two people carrying the banner and one dressed up as the Statue of Liberty. Re: Parade Of States, Celebrations, and Parties
At least they spelled your school wright (pun intended). Last year they spelled my school Bala Cynwyd as Bala Cwynwyd. It's pronouced like kinwood, but they pronouced it like swunwid.

Silly... we all know Minnesota doesn't exist. It's just a void in the upper midwest.
