Does this imply that there will be a div. B tournament as well? I remember meeting some people (perhaps you were one!) at the NYS div. B tournament that were gauging interest - hoping that comes to fruition!sciolyatcornell wrote:The date for the C Division tournament has been decided! The invitational will be on DECEMBER 3, 2016!!

We have looked very seriously into holding Div. B tournament, and will announce a date very soon, once the final arrangements have been made.SPP SciO wrote:Does this imply that there will be a div. Can you give us a preview of what Ezra will do/how it will be different?

Especially cost-wise; cost seems like a major barrier for Avogadro. There's other stuff too, but $100 for Avogadro vs. free for chalker's spreadsheet is very enticing (and chalker's sheet is significantly easier to understand and teach to people quickly, plus it can be run with less hassle for event sups).windu34 wrote:sciencegreek wrote:http://www.ezratech.us/

Re: Cornell Invitational 2016-2017
Ezra will likely be priced right in the $100 per license range as well (although we will likely give discounts for the first year as well as for bulk orders). Like our competitors, Ezra will offer a core online scoring system, but with new features integrated into the system (ex. the ability to fill out a build event score sheet online instead of on paper). Since this software is being developed by people who have run tournaments, the added-on features to the scoring portion of the system have been developed to make the day of the competition run more smoothly from a scoring standpoint.Unome wrote:Especially cost-wise; cost seems like a major barrier for Avogadro. The major standout point for Ezra is that it combines an efficient online scoring system with numerous auxiliary features. Imagine having one system that handles your registration, processing of team forms, assignment of volunteers to events, scoring, communication with Event Supervisors the day of the tournament, presentation of event scores, and creation and posting of the final scores at the end of the tournament.
What we are trying to achieve with Ezra essentially combines a few different programs that tournament officials use (i.e. typeform, groupme, some scoring software, powerpoint, etc.) into one package.
Additionally, behind Ezra will be a support team that will provide the highest quality service. We will be developing tutorial videos to guide even the least computer-literate customer through the software, and will offer online, over-the-phone, and in person tech support.

Do you all have a tentative event schedule at this point?
Re: Cornell Invitational 2016-2017
Could anyone point me in the direction of a list of teams that attended the Cornell Invitational last year?
