So Invasive Species will probably be the Bio ID event next year, and I plan on doing it. If anyone else wants to prepare for it now, here is the Question Marathon!

Went through the Welland Canal and Erie Canal from New York; Petromyzon marinus; Finger Lakes and Lake Champlain (New York and Vermont); electrical currents, "lampricides," barriers, etc.
