Wheeled Vehicle B
-The path of the Administrator is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.
-Nothing\'s gonna get deleted. We\'re gonna be like three little Fonzies here. And what\'s Fonzie like? Come on, what\'s Fonzie like?
-Cool?
-Correctamundo. And that\'s what we\'re gonna be. We\'re gonna be cool. Now, I\'m gonna count to three, and when I count three, you let go of your mouse, and back away from the keyboard. But when you do it, you do it cool. Ready? One... two... three.

Re: Wheeled Vehicle B
So, to start, Do you think the rules might change? Like the timing you get, or maybe the distance?

Rules do change in some way. Usually the rules do force you to build a new vehicle.humanbeingofearth548 wrote:So, to start, Do you think the rules might change? Like the timing you get, or maybe the distance?

Re: Wheeled Vehicle B
Just got the rules. Under scoring it says that the HIGH score wins. This has to be in error as the slowest vehicle that misses the mark by the greatest distance would win.
Am I reading this wrong???

Re: Wheeled Vehicle B
No, that is correct. We've made a general decision to try to make all events HIGH score wins now to help avoid scoring errors (very few were low score wins anyways, and that's caused issues in scoring rooms more often than we'd like them to). The key thing to look at is 6.i, where we indicate the FINAL score is 5000 minus the sum of the run scores. The fastest / most accurate vehicle will still win.retired1 wrote:Just got the rules. Re: Wheeled Vehicle B
I should have read the rules more carefully.
3.c. says that the wheels have to fit into a 25 x 60 cm space. Can I assume that the body of the vehicle can be of any length and the excess can be located in front and in back of the wheels as long as the dowel starts over the start POINT?

Re: Wheeled Vehicle B
I haven't got the rules yet/I don't know where you got them rules, but the HIGHEST score wins? How does it work that way? You just add instead of subtract the points?

Re: Wheeled Vehicle B
I'm guessing, as far as I know, is that the way they score the event is different now. So instead of the lowest winning, the highest score wins?
