Anyone know if we have to also study beaches and coastlines too?

I'd recommend it

Re: Dynamic Planet B/C
A lot of the old WQ stuff from 2014 crosses over to Oceanography like the reefs, currents and tides...so if you have access to that it is good. If not, NOAA has a lot of general information about oceanography. Furthermore, because Oceanography is an actual Scientific study, you could just look up Oceanography and go to a site that has a college lecture. I've done that before and lectures are REALLY useful and in-depth

Re: Dynamic Planet B/C
Anyone know where I can find the Answer Key for the Southeastern Pennsylvania 2008 Regional test? I get a 404 error when I click on it :\
Also, I did Dynamic Planet(Glaciers) over the past 2 years, but the rules are different this year. The rule book says we'll have timed stations, but doesn't say how much time. I'm guessing the time will vary at regionals/invitationals, but I was wondering if anyone had any more info about the stations? Thanks in advance!

Re: Dynamic Planet B/C
Tests will very in content and format based on the Event supervisor at each tournament. Nationals will be stations, other tournaments may or may not...or maybe a combination of lab/written test.
Vague "probe ware" language concerns me. Most likely probe ware testing would be salinity, and yet the rules do not require goggles or other safety equipment. Inexperienced event supervisors may plan testing stations without realizing they will also need to provide ALL safety equipment for all teams since it is not listed in the rules.

Yea, the safety equipment will likely be an issue. Unless they update the rules(I think they've done that before) and notify ALL coaches and teams.

Re: Dynamic Planet B/C
I'm looking for equations to calculate Buoyancy and I found this equation:
Fb = Df * Vf * g
Fb = Buoyancy force
Df = Density of displaced fluid
Vf = Volume of displaced fluid
g = 9.8 m/s2, acceleration due to gravity
Does anyone know is this is correct, and if so, can someone give me an example of how to use this equation?
EDIT: I did some more research and found the equation Fb = Md * g where
Md = Mass of displaced fluid
I realize that that's the same equation as the one above (D = M/V) but I thought I'd just clarify for anyone else who was looking.
