What is the timing for the Wright State Invitational? Were trying to figure out a time to use.

Re: Timing
Most invitationals I've been to refer to the regional guidelines for simplicity and ease of scoring.

Re: Timing
it should be 60 sec then? Do you have an individual timing task or is it like part of one of your tasks?
So far...medaling has been a rollercoaster
but hopefully, next one would be on top!

Re: Timing
60 seconds ideal time for the whole operation time.

'Regional' rules / timing will be used for all events I believe. The only exception is some events that have State / National topics might include them on tests.

Re: Timing
They could have used any time but seeing as how I wasn't there I wouldn't know. But now on to the real regionals...

Re: Timing
our final task was driven by an electric motor, and we were able to change the timing by varying resistance. one of the coolest parts of the project was building a wire wound resistor to do that.
Re: Timing
No other electrical device is allowed per rule. Is home-made resistor allowed?Jkwashbourne wrote:our final task was driven by an electric motor, and we were able to change the timing by varying resistance. one of the coolest parts of the project was building a wire wound resistor to do that.
