towers results for your state: state, team, score and place

Please share your results for your state in the event towers. Say your state, what school you are, what place you got, what places other teams got, everyone's scores (state scoring) or anything else you would like to share about the results for your state.

Hi, I'm here from NJ States!
Our tower came in 3rd place for Div. C with around a 52 I believe.
I'm not sure but either the first or second tower was a 62.

I have not had my states yet, but the highest score I have heard of is a 134 (that is from C div.) If you are worried about competition at state, I would expect a definite medal to be between 90-105. I don't know how competitive Massachusetts is, but if you can get within that range, you should medal.

(to above) ya. Max score for our tower is 100 almost exactly and we are expecting mid to high 90's. Massachusetts isn't very competitive and we expect top three with that score but anything can happen as you probably know. On the way to states which is Saturday, it could break even with the padding we have for it. And one team could come with this tower that gets a score of like 140 and is just amazing. When it comes to building events you just never know. When is your state competition? I'm so nervous for ours on Saturday. In Massachusetts, we don't have reigionals and so everyone goes to states so we have no way of knowing how other teams are doing in comparison to us. Out of 20 years of existing, our team has only lost states once in 2005 by only ONE point, but it has been getting closer lately and I'm just really nervous because this year especially it would be a bad year to lose... Well good luck at states whenever it is for you!!

Our states is April 27th, which gives us a lot of time to prepare.

Of course, accidents can happen, and any team can build a good tower if they work really hard on it.
