The BirdSO Planning team is excited to present to you the 2024 BirdSO In-Person Invitational, taking place on Saturday, January 13th, 2024. This year, we have been working with the SoCal alumni group at the University of Southern California as hosts for this year’s invitational. We are thankful for their help in bringing an event of this scale together.

Date: Saturday, January 13th, 2024
Location: University of Southern California (USC)
Division: B/C
Teams: 60 teams per division, at most 6/teams school. May expand to 72 or 84 teams/div.
Registration: $200/team.

Registration opens Monday, October 16th @ Noon PT. To secure a spot, schools must register via the Google Form and payment must be received. More details regarding registration and payment will be available on our website, https://birdso.org, and the Google Form shortly.

Any inquiries can be sent to our email, [email protected]. More information regarding the in-person competition and Satellite competition, taking place in February 10-17, will be released shortly. All email updates will be posted onto https://birdso.org/communications.

Adding on to the post in ⁠invitationals-announcements, BirdSO Satellite will be held on February 10-17 (Asynchronous).

Date: Saturday, February 10th-17th, 2024 (Asynchronous)
Location: Scilympiad (https://scilympiad.com/birdso/)
Division: B/C
Teams: 150 teams per division.
Registration: $100/team.

Furthermore, the BirdSO Event Supervisor Application is open! The form must be completed on or before November 10, 2023.
