last year it was just a meetup type thing after the awards in one of the rec buildings all the teams where invited to it. SOmtimes however i have heard that there is a special one for medalers/teams who trophy but i am not sure

The "VIP Afterglow" party is for Tournament Directors, event supervisors and other high level volunteers.
After awards, the rec center is opened up to the student teams for a couple hours a playing around and letting off steam.
