On Scioly.org, we have a responsibility to uphold copyright laws. You may have seen the recent change we made to image licensing on the wiki—this change was made in order to ensure that we share content respectfully and with the permission of the owner.

Please remember to avoid the discussion of illegal downloads, software theft, or other resource sharing that does not adhere to copyright laws in the US. This includes sharing download links for textbooks, games, shows, and other paid intellectual property.

Instead, try sharing free alternatives or places to purchase these resources legally. Used bookstores and libraries may have textbooks available for purchase, or some sites like Amazon may have e-books that can be rented.

Piracy is against the law. Be responsible, and source your resources legally.
