i dont know exactly how much mine weighs but id say its about 250-400g (.5lbs-.9lbs) depending on the number of batteries im usingHopelessnewbie wrote:Idealistically, how heavy should the car be? Mine is coming in at a few pounds, and I'm a little concerned.

Their isn't necessarily a weight your car should be. Mine is built out of aluminum tubes it is decently heavy as well. If you have too much weight that it is making your car go to slow you should probably consider lowering the weight or increasing the voltage ( only up to 12 volts though) but if your car runs well at that weight it is most likely fine.Hopelessnewbie wrote:Idealistically, how heavy should the car be? You do not need to think abourt weight unless you are using fan power. As long as it is not so heavy that it puts pressure on your wheel bearings it is fine.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by fast? What kind of times is your vehicle getting? Keep in mind that, while having a fast car is generally good, there may or may not be skid.MadCow2357 wrote:700 grams, very fast time. Using a 12V motor.
