Compute This B
Discussion for Compute This B.
-The path of the Administrator is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.
-Nothing\'s gonna get deleted. We\'re gonna be like three little Fonzies here. And what\'s Fonzie like? Come on, what\'s Fonzie like?
-Cool?
-Correctamundo. And that\'s what we\'re gonna be. We\'re gonna be cool. Now, I\'m gonna count to three, and when I count three, you let go of your mouse, and back away from the keyboard. But when you do it, you do it cool. Ready? One... two... three.

Re: Compute This B
did you get the draft rules for this too?robotman09 wrote:the site is most likely going to be nasa.gov
Im going to miss this event

anyway, I find that its a lot easier to do the graph first because that has a lot more knit-pick things that you can miss and its easier to check them when you aren't rushing around towards the end of the time period

Re: Compute This B
yes i did get the draft rules for this also
i feel it depends on the question lengths as to a strategy to use but since no one is the same each team should decide what is best for them and try to stick to the same oder in which they do things (what is the word for that *brain dead*)

Re: Compute This B
Basically, you find data from a certain website (usually places like USGS or NASA) online, represent some of it in a graph, and find answers to questions (all answers are within the domain of whatever website the rules specify). You can also create a website of your own (non-password protected) where you put up useful links and things like that. That's the short version of the rules. If you want, I can elaborate.

Re: Compute This B
yeah. i did it last year and you have to figure out what they ask you solely from the website.
like the graph, the short answer, and anything else they ask this year. so you're pretty much right.
