Mousetrap Vehicle

How do I make the Mousetrap Vehicle go backward after it goes forward and pushes the cup? I'd be so grateful for any help offered. Thanks!

Add a pin or a hook onto the axle. Wrap the string in one direction around it and then using the hook as a turning point, wind it the other way. This is typically used when you have two traps connected to a single lever arm.
