2018 Indiana Rule Clarifications
Herpetology(B/C)
The event parameters now read:
“Each team may bring one official National List along with one commercially produced field guide, which may be annotated and tabbed, AND one three-ring binder of any size containing information in any form and from any source attached using the available rings. The information may be removed during the event. ”
The state board is allowing the use of BOTH a field guide and a binder at all Indiana competitions for the Herpetology event.
Rocks and Minerals (B/C)
The event parameters now read:
“Each team may bring one magnifying glass, one official National List along with one commercially produced field guide, which may be annotated and tabbed, AND one three-ring binder of any size containing information in any form and from any source attached using the available rings. The information may be removed during the event. ”
The state board is allowing the use of BOTH a field guide and a binder at all Indiana competitions for the Rocks and Minerals event
NEW RESOURCES POLICY (DIVISION B ONLY).
1) Division B events that specify binders may use them at all competitions including State in Indiana.
2) Division B events that allow any resource may use binders at the Regional and Invitational Level tournaments in Indiana.

Mishawaka Results:
Division B:
3rd Place: Stanley Clark
2nd Place: Kahler
1st Place: Wilbur Wright
Division C:
3rd Place: Mishawaka White
2nd Place: Highland Blue
1st Place: John Adams Red
It looks like Carmel, Lake Central and Bloomington were all at Centerville. 2nd win for Wilbur Wright. Will they be the team that upsets Thomas Jefferson?

But we also don't know how they stack up against TJ since they haven't competed against each other yet this season

Yes, I wouldn't be too confident in Wilbur Wright beating TJ this year

Are there any teams that have a chance? High School looks like it is going to be close between Munster and Carmel.

Not really, the real competition for Division B is between 5th-2nd place, no one has beaten TJ's experts in a long time
