Winning distances/times? Average or best?
I won gold at regionals. They did not give me my distance. I'm at state had no penalty and my runs were 4.5 sec with 30cm and 5.4 sec with 28 cm. The teams before me all broke eggs or hit the bucket and the team after me was over 2 feet off a school slower I wasn't able to watch the rest. the judge wasn't sure if he would take the best time or average them. We were the only team so far out of 6 that had 2 good runs without penalty.
Do these scores 4.5/30 and 5.4/28 sound good enough for a medal?
I got gold in scrambler last year with 6.2/22 but no bucket and that bucket is really throwing off the other teams at my comps this year.

We are getting scores of about 3.5 seconds, and 1 cm max away from center point, so sub 5 usually.Mp3nguin__ wrote:I won gold at regionals. They did not give me my distance. Wow... that's probably going to be the best scrambler at Nationals... wow. I bet it's just down to a ton of testing, right?cheese wrote:We are getting scores of about 3.5 seconds, and 1 cm max away from center point, so sub 5 usually.Mp3nguin__ wrote:I won gold at regionals. Re: Winning distances/times? Average or best?
It kind of depends if they are going to change the rules for next year, if they do, then I'd be happy to. Otherwise I'll have to talk to my partner first.4Head wrote:cheese, after nationals would you mind submitting pictures of your device? Battery Buggy is tentatively rotating in next season, with no return for Scrambler. I hope this site has helped you along the way, and know your contributions will be appreciated by competitors for generations.cheese wrote:It kind of depends if they are going to change the rules for next year, if they do, then I'd be happy to. Re: Winning distances/times? Average or best?
Just curious - what was the track length set at Nationals, and how close did teams get? Any idea of raw scores?

hmm, kinda disappointing tbh. My nats run from last year would've gotten 3rd. super props to 1st place tho, thats insane accuracyBroNiSciGuy wrote:2017 National Results for Scrambler
